NorfolkAYA
Noticed yesterday evening my dog has a sore in his rear foot. His 2 pads are a little red and he keeps licking it. Absolutely fine in himself and no problems walking in it. Anyone not what could be causing it?. Cheers Pete

bigbird
He's a springador so in the very unlikely event he carries the gene he would only be at most a carrier I think

Lot of wild barley about now. That often needs the Vet to sort if its in deep. Sometimes if they get an irritation they just keep licking it which makes it more sore. You could try soaking it in warm salt water and smearing with zambuk. Edited October 24, 2016 by loriusgarrulus

R1nut
We use pad heal on our dogs if they get sore, it seems to do the trick for us Edited October 23, 2016 by R1nut
