Hows the escort, are they any good. Looks prety good to me but heard lots of negative things about them and there are so many nearly new ones for sale.

I was after 1 myself but then I braught a Fabarm semi auto camo instead. :good: thanks Hesky :good:

I got the Escort for £200 it had fired 250 or so carts, I have a 10 bore for fowling but wanted a cheap mud gun for ducks, as the salt marsh i shoot trashes the blue on any gun no matter what oil you use. I have found its become my first choice for ducks, bunnies and woodies, its just feels right. I sometimes have a problem cycling carts (clear pigeon) but in my opinion you get a lot of bang for your buck! I have plenty of choice in my gun locker but this little semi is the biz

Clear pigeon are 30g and a bit slower aint they? Is it that do you think?

Not sure pin, i had 250 and just dont like them, the Escort will cycle 28grm in other carts, i would normally opt for 30 or 32 for a semi and the cost is hardly worth the bother, cause if it wont bang when you want it too your wasting your time, maybe its to do with the gas output, but in the clears i had the powder looked more like bits of cut up pink paper than grains of powder

Reason I ask is in the o/u I like them, modest recoil and they bring piggies and black ones down fine, but I find 1 in 10 jam in the a303 - which isn't cart fussy at all.

I think you might be right about the gas :(

The escort i had used to jam with clear pigeons and it was because they are 65mm and the escort is setup for 70mm.

At least that was what i was told i got shot of it after 2 weeks. .!!!

I was told this a few months after i had got rid of it..
