B25Modelman
That's why many years ago when one had 9's in one pocket this target and 7 1/2's in another for that target...oh drat now I have forgotten what I loaded...is the reason plus AJS was promoting the idea, I moved to 8's for everything. Stonepark
Surely a plastic wad designed with a 'wider' pattern is simply doing what a fibre cartridge does naturally?
EdSolomons
Performance between fibre and plastic very different, plus fibre even worse in over bored barrels. One of the reasons you never see a top competitor using fibre unless forced to by shoot rules.

Iam sure I read a cartridge review in pull magazine where the author was convincingly breaking 65 yard crossers with fibre cartridges with cylinder choke. EdSolomons
And if you believe all you read in pull magazine I'd be surprised and worried in equal measure!

I do hope your not casting doubt over my Webley and Scott 912 shotgun that I purchased after a fine review by that multiple world champion Vic harker.
