Wiggum
Hey guys I've been given a slab of Express power gold carts by my dad for Christmas, I've used the power blues in the past and been quite impressed with them. Just wondered if anyone has used the power golds and what your impressions were of them. The write up for them says they pattern superbly but they're gonna say that about there own cartridges ? alastair0903
My friend used them today , loud confetti cannon comes to mind . Broke clays well
bruno22rf
Power Reds seem better to me - check the manufacture date as the early batches were not correctly made - kicked like a Mule but velocity was poor.
grrclark
I have shot a slab of the plastic wad Power Gold and thought they were a nice cartridge. Fairly smooth, were clean enough through my gun and i had plenty of good breaks. I have a slab of the fibre wad ones in the house, but not shot any of them yet. welshwarrior
Shot some early on plastic where quite good but the fibres where punchy, not tried any since as I've not been given any more
alastair0903
Must add I was commenting on fiber wads , he knew about firing 180 of them
walt1980
Yeah fibre ones were a bit punchy and smokey I found, wasn't a problem unless you had a breeze in your face and had bits blow back towards you which was a bit distracting for a 2nd shot. Plastic 7.5's are good for range as they're a uk 7!
Wiggum
That's guys I will feed my semi auto a couple of boxes and see how I get on, I've always got on well with the power blues with good breaks on the clays
DrBob1
I've used nothing else for months (fibre, 8s mostly) in a semi-auto, so several thousand used. Get good breaks when I point the gun in the right place. Very clean in my gun. Edited December 30, 2016 by DrBob1
