Wilksy II
Hiya eddy I'd say I've shot 15-20yrds away they spooked at first then wandered off, I could do with a three shot pump one really the single shot does limit you for pigeons

Cranfield
Consider the 20ga, much quieter than the 12ga, especially with subsonics (most of which are 30gm No5 shot).
psycho
Go 20 better range and cover than the 410 and quieter than the
Remimax
yep go down the 20gauge pump route if you want the best multishot combo. the 20gauge OU if you want it to be as quiet as poss for a decent range. ive had mine about year and its spot on if you shoot it a lot then reload your subsonics ,its well worth the effort as choice is a bit limited. kenholland
the Mossberg 4/10 with full choke does it for me, but the 20 bore should cover all your needs.
