Beardo
haven't been in there in ages - you're right about him being marmite, but i always quite liked him - you had to be ready to waste a hour in there for coffees and chat... Yellowvanman
I bought my first handgun from Joe in about 1993 or 4. I was in the shop 4 1/2 hours. I have since done loads of business with him and wish him well whatever is going on. I read elsewhere that he is fit and well.
JimLondon
Apparently Joe has had he's RFD license taken off him due to issues regarding the security in the shop i.e. Cartridges near the door and no locks on any of the firearms on display. Vince Green
Its a bit more complicated than that, Joe has had quite a serious brush with officialdom. Despite having been inspected and passed many times over the years some new broom has come along and insisted on a lot of new security which Joe has had to spend a lot of time and money on. Basically they are making him jump through hoops. Its not been done very nicely by all accounts.
