Hendrix's rifle
Could someone take a look in there manual for me about the above powders with the vmax bullets? Can't find load data for it anywhere. I can get hold of cfe223 easily along with the n130 and n135. Thanks

Hendrix's rifle
Thanks. Like I say, just a load using the 55g or 50g vmax with either powder. Much appreciated
fortune
Are you going to test the speed with a chronograph or load the recommendations for the load and bullet mix in the charts?
Dougy
50. Start 27 3241 fps.. max 28.5 3505 Start 25 3100 fps.. max 27.8 3300 Sorry CFE 223. Advise the use of a chrono whenever you can, I have just got in after finding a load for my 17 rem. I can only get nosler brass now, having started with remington brass the max case capacity 1.5 grains less than my previous accurate load. I went for CFE223.Book max load is 27.4 and 4466 fps I got to 26.8 and chrono tells me 4550 fps, bloody accurate too. 1/4" Sorry for diverting your thread but just making a point about how useful a chronograph can be when reloading. Hendrix's rifle
I will be putting them over the chrony at some point, just not sure when. Dougy, are them loads using cfe223? I'm presuming the top is the 50g bullet and the bottom is 55g? Thanks Oh, and c.o.a.l aswell if you don't mind! Thanks Edited February 9, 2017 by Hendrix's rifle

Hendrix's rifle
GOOGLE. sorry dude I'm watching telly now put my books away. Lol Have a day out this weekend and get to the shooting show, pick yourself up a reloading book. I've tried Google and found a bit of conflicting data, hence the question on here. I'm picking my rifle up Saturday and I've got to go out with the mrs on Sunday, if I'm honest it should have been the first thing in my list but allas, it wasn't! Is it 2.25 for that load? I saw something similar
