viking
well iv been shooting for 10 years now, i started on the clays for a couple or 3 years then through a mate got a farm to shoot on about 25 mile away pigeon and crow shooting, went pretty much every week come rain or shine, very hit and miss for pigeons round there so many a times me and my mate would sit there for 10 hours and not shoot a think but we didnt care never really had anymore that 40 birds and that only ever happened once, general bag would be between 1 and 20 but mainly somewhere in between , but we loved every outing, but over the years its got worse and worse, we must have the happiest farmer in the land it got to the point where most of the time we wouldnt even set up and there wasnt even a bird in sight, so for the last 15 months iv got back into the clays and havent been to the farm much witch is a bit sad really but it really did become a constant waste of time, my mate bumped into an old mate of his last week and they got talking about shooting and it turns out that this lad has some permission and quite a lot by the sounds of it,on only about 10 mile away, a good few thousand acre that he cant really commit to nowadays due to just having a baby so hes spoken to the farmer about us going and shooting it when ever we like, just have to go meet the farmer at the weekend, all the lad asked for is we take his other 16 year old son with us now and again as they used to shoot together on the land, not a problem at all we said, i wont say where it is but i drive past this place now and again and its always packed with birds on the ground and in the air and a couple of times iv pulled over and watched when iv seen them piling on to a field and always thought id love to shoot that land, so really looking forward to this weekend, still dont think i will be able to compete with PC, he is the the pigeon master
