steve_b_wales
I have a few lamps that I use, including a Blaserlite, X Searcher, Evo 67. I'm looking for a rechargeable one, suitable for ranges to 250/300 yards. There are many on the market, and I'm looking for a mid-priced one, around £75 if possible. Can anyone recommend one? steve_b_wales
Just googled the predator lamps. There the same as the cluson plr 500 I noticed the same. Cluson are an excellent firm to deal with, so I may go and order the plr 500.

steve_b_wales
Cluson PLR 500 looks to be about the best value for money. I have a Blazerlite, made by them, and it has lasted me many years. But it's not a rechargeable one.

steve_b_wales
I've just ordered a Cluson Clu Briter which will suit my needs. I've also ordered an amber filter which I prefer to the red one.
Harry Callahan
Are these using li-ion batteries? Look decent kit for the price... Clulite website says due to popularity the PLR500 is temporarily out of stock.
steve_b_wales
The battery is a 2200mAH NiMH. On full charge, it's stated that it will run 3 hours on full beam, and up to 20 hours on low/strobe. I didn't buy mine from Cluson direct, but from a different company via Amazon. I've also bought an Amber filter for it.
