keeper96
Hi guys Most of my shooting these days is on a range with the odd foray out stalking and lamping. I'm looking for a decent scope that would do both target and hunting (adjustable turrets and good light gathering) I've got £400-£500 to spend so I was looking for reccomendations from people? foxnet22
I tried a range of scopes and finally settled on the schmidt bender scope on my 223 I would recommend looking at these.
Andy RV
What rifle is it going on? And distance do you shoot at?

.20 Hunter
If you can find a second hand Light Stream that would be worth looking at. I use one which I bought from new. Sadly no longer made 4.5-14x44 fantastic in low light. Nearest I can think would be Leupold or March optics but March are three times the price of your budget sadly. Popular with the HFT Airgun boys so I gather
8 shot
I've had a play with the new Nightforce bit more than your budget but a good secondhand one would do

Andy RV
Have a look at the Vortex scopes, really good glass for the money. You'll be into the viper series with that budget.
