SNAKEBITE
Got him yesterday. A 2 year old very laid back boy called Bobby. Didn't make the grade as a sniffer dog as he was too laid back Fantastic temprement and very good with the kids. He pays no attention to my boy and my daughter wont leave him alone at the moment but he just puts up with it all. His tail won't stop wagging. LEFTY478
Nice dog, mate. But, if he's so happy with his 'new family', why's he trying to escape under the fence?
SNAKEBITE
He has just buried his bone! Another good point is he seems to like eating the grass, I reckon I could end up never having to mow again.
new to the flock
Snakebite, Very nice looking dog, I hope he fills that gap well and gives the whole family lots of love. Just to make you aware th collar is on backwards or if you like upside down. The way it is on the dog does not allow it to fall open again once pressure is off it after a correction. Also if you are going to use the choke chain be sure to remove his flat collar while working with it as they will interfer with each other. Lastly, I am sure you are well aware not to leave that collar on him unless you are with him. They can drop between deck boards or cracks and the dog can panic causing the collar to act just like a snare. I am glad that he is settleing in so well, me thinks you may have found the right one to be a pet and a field dog. NTT

Cranfield
I think he has found Snakebite's stash, perhaps he isn't a failed sniffer dog after all.

SNAKEBITE
Well he seems to have been adopted by my daughter already....................... Oh and thanks for the tip off NTTF, I am trying to use a field lead but my daughter keeps putting the collars on him. I am trying to leave him without anything on when he is at home. She won't leave him alone at the moment!

SNAKEBITE
Well after the hassle this morning (see posts in dog section) the wife now informs me that she wants it to go back. So much for the months trial. It was here blooming idea in the first place, that's the annoying thing. IMHO we have just messed ourselves, the bloke who I got the dog off and most importantly the dog himself around. The whole affair has been a nightmare, a complete and utter embarresment. Not happy.
