la bala
I have shot from a hide in a pylon base many times, only problem they tend to echo a bit, take your ear defenders. Have never been zapped.

Stonepark
Just don't hit the conductors or insulators. Conductor is annealed aluminium and very soft, insulators can be ceramic or glass and quite brittle.
Cranfield
I have sat under pylons shooting with no problems,I just shoot away from the pylons, not up at them. I did fly fish under pylons once and the carbon fibre fly rod vibrated, I soon moved away from there.

Mr gen
Just don't hit the conductors or insulators. Conductor is annealed aluminium and very soft, insulators can be ceramic or glass and quite brittle. +1 these can be a great place to shoot from as the area beneath is never cut, there is absolutely no chance of any leakage from the conductors, unless you shatter the insulator string(the glass dishes) connecting the conductors to the tower. as said above shoot away from the tower and have a good day. wabbit warren
shot under pylons over a farm near my parents and as la bala said they echo a bit the sound seems to go up then come back down like a mecaphone but at least youve got four sides so getting the wind in your favour shouldnt be a problem
