Pigeon Shredder.
They're not allowed to do that . My Mrs works at Aldi and they don't allow shops to just grab. They have to preorder the day before . A local restaurant took all the chips recently and the manager told them they'll have to put them back as they only get a once a day delivery. It's not as great as you'd think. On average £1 an hour more . Been shooting all day so only just seen your response, but that's what she had, didn't see if/when she went through the checkout. TIGHTCHOKE
The wife showed me a photo of the queues at Lidl for Prosecco . Out of the door and down the road! We called in to the Stamford branch of Lidl on the way out to the fields, apparently the Prosecco went in the first 15 minutes after they opened. oldypigeonpopper
hello, seems the ALDI steak debacle has not been the only problem this week if you read the reports on the double charging some 1000s of customers in the midlands and those who got up early and queued for hours to buy the £20 box of wine ( ah prosecco ) and it sold out in minuites leaving a lot of disapointed people, Edited August 27, 2017 by oldypigeonpopper
TIGHTCHOKE
With regard to the steak question, we usually eat rump steak, have tried both of the Lidl and Aldi versions recently and the Aldi version was the best.
Bazooka Joe
Aldi's Norpak butter is excellent, better than Lurpak, The Cold Meat section & the Cheeses are good & half the price with the likes of Tesco's.

TIGHTCHOKE
OPP I can quite believe it, we had nice pieces of rump for £3:29 each, marinaded in Worcestershire sauce and black pepper and a reasonable bottle of red wine.
