mel b3 Posted October 26, 2017 Report Share Posted October 26, 2017 hiya guys , this is just another quick heads up to try to ease up on the christmas rush , and avoid disappointment , ill try to run another ad before christmas , but this may be the last one as we struggle with demand. also. as you all know , weve kept our prices on pw, fixed , and at or below trade price for around three years , its been a struggle at times but weve always managed it , unfortunately , demand is now outstripping supply when it comes to our leather supply (weve never really charged for material , only labour) , and we will be buying in leather , this will mean a price increase , we estimate an increase of around 25% + but wont be sure until it happens , the products in this ad will be at the old price , but any future ads will be at the slightly increased price im afraid guys. thank you for looking guys. It is too cheap Mel and Im glad your upping prices as its only right for handmade stuff. to be honest , we wont be making any extra profit . with most of our products , we give the leather away for free , as its a bi product of her main business , as time has gone on , making leather products has taken over her main business , its had the unfortunate effect that she is struggling to get enough(free) raw materials for the leather goods . on several occasions over the last few months , weve had to buy in leather to make her products , its meant that on some items weve been losing money . at the very beginning , we promised that we would always keep prices as low as possible , and weve stuck to that for as long as we can .
