Pigeon Shredder.
I saw the good news that 2 strokes from 175 to 500cc will be allowed back into MX1 in 2018. Been a long time coming and will make a welcome return. Ahh the smell and noise, nostalgia !

Yes they will, but power to weight ratio = miles of smiles.
Pigeon Shredder.
MX2 as well by the way 120 to 250cc up against the 4 strokes. Bet there will be a new influx from the manufacturing departments around the globe.
Albert 888
Ha, I'm a 4 clacker rider, mate has a antisocial 2 smoke. Love the engine braking on the 4.
Gordon R
Had four CR500s, one in the aluminium frame, plus KTM SX360 and SX380. All far quicker than most four strokes. Youngest has a KTM SXF 450 which develops more BHP than the two strokes. That said, it would be relatively easy to tune a two stroke to far more than any four stroke. Four strokes are easier to ride - not as abrupt. I will be glad to see them return - far cheaper to maintain than four strokes. No cams, cam chains, valves etc. Edited November 29, 2017 by Gordon R
Newbie to this
I had a CR250 95 model from almost new, sold it to a mate a year or so back, he did it up to original 95 spec and is intending to race it (if his aging body will hold up). I love a 2stroke MX bike Honda was always my favourite. A mate of mine had an 90 model CR500 and I can whole heartedly agree they are pure evil but fun

Pigeon Shredder.
Tell that to Honda, RC115 and 116 seemed to have did OK and they were only 50cc. My last Greenlander was a Kramit 250.
