steve_b_wales
About a year ago I asked about a good product that I could use to 'cement' between the patio stones. Someone recommended a product that works when exposed to air (I think) but I can't find the product. Any help is appreciated.
Delwint
Romex is the best on the market, some will say Sika or Geofix but that’s only because they haven’t tried Romex ?
Mice!
http://www.pavingexpert.com/point_romex01.htm so is this stuff good enough for £34 for 15kg off Amazon? Haven't had a proper look about just a quick search 1 hour ago, Delwint said: Romex is the best on the market, some will say Sika or Geofix but that’s only because they haven’t tried Romex ? Delwint
It’s well worth the money. You are too far from me but I paid £44 for 25kg from my paving supplier Edited January 4, 2018 by Delwint
figgy
My parents used the grey with black specks in Romex resin stuff and it went green with damp weather in a couple of years and a fair bit of it has came out between the joints with frost. It don’t like pressure washing much either, might depend on your patio material they have slate. I still don’t think you can beat a mortar joint. Delwint
And mortar doesn’t turn green on a patio ? It’s personal choice at the end of the day, you pays your money and take your choice
steve_b_wales
To be honest, the mortar has lasted around 9 years. I think I’ll wait until better weather arrives (?) and use a mortar mix. What is the best mix to make up?
