222mark
I was always led to believe only 65mm cartridges were to be used in a 21/2" chambered 12g. Looking at some boxes of Eley bismuth i have it clearly says for 65mm chambered guns but 67mm case length. Am i missing something or do Eley know different? Westley
I have used a lot of Gamebore and Fiocchi cartridges in a 67mm case through my old English gun and lived to tell the tale !
matone
We`ve discussed this before. The early Eley plastic Grand Prix ,Maximum etc were loaded for 21/2 inch guns but used 23/4 inch cases ...to no ill effect for many years.
