Cranfield
If you are thinking of the home ones you have outside, make sure you spend some money on a quality one. All the cheapo ones are rubbish.

bbjunkie
Got the Oregon Scientific WMR928N (Wireless) and it's a decent job, hooked up to Weatherdisplay ( http://www.weather-display.com/index.php ) software on the PC Cheaper than the vantage pro also! IIRC there are some issues with the LaCrosse units, try googling them

Dr W
You don't need one. It's summer and it's going to be raining on and off all day for next 2 months, the end.
SNAKEBITE
Best thing you can do is stick your head out the window, if it comes in white, wrap up. If it gets wet wear a mac and if it comes in sweaty just wear a t-shirt. Works for me!
Gully
What's the point? The Met Office costs us £83million per year and they haven't got a clue what the weather's going to be.

ShaggyRS6
My wife lets me have a toy pool, which was made of a hefty redundency packet I got a few years back. I also went through a stage of buying and selling online gamming accounts which boosted my toy fund, I still do a bit now on and off which keeps me in toys
