Cranfield
Does anyone know how much it costs to send a standard letter by Airmail to Northern Ireland. I have looked on the Post Office website, but they don't mention Norther Ireland as being "overseas" (in fact they don't mention it at all). As it is part of the UK, is it just a normal first class stamp ?

Most 1st class mail in the UK now goes by air mail since the abolition of the TPO.

pin
Without wanting to kick it all off again, NI = UK therefore its the same to send a letter next door as it is to NI, and so it should be!
bbjunkie
Without wanting to kick it all off again, NI = UK therefore its the same to send a letter next door as it is to NI, and so it should be! Here Here! Most couriers will charge more due to air freight, including ParcelFarce however Royal Mail charge the same as mainland UK Sickens me how some retailers insist on charging more for postage to NI even though it costs them no extra. decroyffe
I also think it's the same rate as it would be here, but like mentioed it boils down the the size and weight of the letter which determines the price. not long ago i sent a full set of golf clubs, bag and flight bag to NI at the cost of £15, which i thought was great considering the size and weight.
