i have heard "thro' my grapevine"....................thatttttt...........................

the company that owned the company that owned the company that owned the bridge is Benniton............the clothing manufacturer ex Formular 1 owner...............

 

now whether this is true or not i dont know can anyone in the know comfirm this ??

 

 

just googled the FT........Bennniton family have something to do with it...............

Well, I don't know, but if it was owned by Beneton surely it would be painted in a miriad of bright colours!

I’m in Italy at the moment and all of the papers are mentioning Benetton... I don’t speak Italian so I have no idea what they’re saying though!!!

my daughter and family are in italy as well..........couldnt contact them until this morning.............phhheewwww

That must’ve been worrying.

We are due to drive around to see friends in Nice next week with a stop over in Genoa before crossing the now destroyed bridge into France. Thankfully the stars aligned as they did and we are a week behind recent events.

The level of corruption in many EU countries is unbeleivable, I'm not saying it doesn't go on in the UK, but it pales in comparison to many others in Europe, which is another reason I'm glad we're leaving the EU, when was the last time the EU audited and balanced it's accounts? That's right, never!
