Hello all yesterday there had to have been one of the most productive evenings i have ever had during daylight hours i went to a spot to check up on a few duck ponds where club has a lot of young mallard brought my tikka with me just for the sake of it didnt expect to see anything we regularly lamp this spot and never see anything. But i was looking down at one of the ponds from a distance and everything was ok ducks still about anyway i looked to my left and copped a fox looking straight at me i rushed to extend bipod and got down but by the time i was finished fumbling he ran over a rise so i ran to top and spotted him walking away gave a squeel he looked round crosshairs on to shoulder crack...thump :) 130yrds out1stfox.jpg i went down to him to cut tail for vermin count our gun club does just took photo and looked into distance thought it was a hare picked up scope looked another fox :good: got down fox was a fair bit out sitting straight up aimed at neck and squeezed the fox just floped over stone dead at 185yrds delighted with these american eagle hp,s :D heres the two together second one was a vixon2foxes.jpg and the last one was got on my way back to car very dull hence very **** camera phone pic was another adult dog fox 50yrds into the noggin :o one more very dead fox :good:3rdfox.jpg

1 of the cubs i got the other night was out before it was dark, but because the eye relief on my scope is set to accomodate the NV i had to attach it to shoot. The lense is off a camera so you can open the iris just a little. Was nice to see it in full colour before, but back to NV mode to shoot....ah well, can,t have it both ways.

Was going to go tonight but it was our shoot BBQ last night and had to work this afternoon so energy levels are down..2 nights to do then back at them..

Keep up the good work Mark
