I set the tappets, but the next wet day I am having the rocker arms off. They have a bit of wear on them, I think a bit of light milling is needed on the flats. Posted September 29, 2018 Report Share Posted September 29, 2018 Aren't the rocker arm faces on this engine hardened? l think you will need to stone or grind the profile rather than milling them, as they will have a radius about them because they are a rolling surface on a flat surface, i'e the valve stem and not flat on flat.
