Hamster
😁 This is why you have to be very careful when seeking advice and general knowledge on the internet, this guy is fundamentally wrong about chokes making the gun shoot "longer" and yet there are only 34 "dislikes" out of 200k+ views and I gave up trying to find anyone in the comments picking up on it :
gotgcoalman
he's American so he's always right 🙄 I got to the bit where he likened a choke to squeezing the end of a garden hose🤣 If it's on the interweb it must be true.
grrclark
Shooting is full of pseudo physics where people talk utter nonsense and so many seem to lap it up.

sabel25
Should be easy to see the clowns that believe such **** As they will all have 34" / 36" barrels with full chokes in to hit them 200Yard high pheasant and using a hose pipe on a pattern plate
Scully
I once overheard one shooter telling another that if he ‘swept’ the gun through the clay as he fired he would create a long shot string.
figgy
If they believe and gain confidence by it and it's doing no harm. When they says like squeezing a hose I thought he meant like a spray attachment goes from wide to narrow giving more range. The rest of us can go with trusted physics and experience. It's surprising how many (even experienced) shooters think tight chokes produce longer shot strings ! Not that long ago there was an article in Sporting Gun wherein the expert claimed just that, luckily the following month a long, informative letter from a chuckling reader put matters right and the writer had the grace to accept something had momentarily gone wrong. 😆
