Yours would have to be sold first, then you send off your certificate to apply for a new one. It's long winded, but the only way so far.

One for one variation, sell your current rifle, send in the form and paperwork showing its sold and you no longer have it, then put in 243 as the new calibre you want, and dont forget to add a mod if you wabt one.

If you sell a gun you have to inform the police. if you want to change one gun for another you have to sell one and put in for a variation before you can get something else.

you don't have to go for the same calibre but if you want to change from 243 to 308 (for example) you might get refused the 308 so it would end up with neither. It might be worth the £20 to put in for a new slot for the 308

When you inform feo of the sale of your current 243 you need to request a one for one variation in order to get another 243 rifle.

you will not be able to get another one until your variation comes through.

Don't forget a moderator also, if applicable.
