Daylight Fox

I went for a sit at 5.00 this evening and this little fella popped out at 6.00.

I was eyeing up a couple of magpies for the .17, so by the time I'd swopped guns he'd gone back in.

After waiting 15 minutes, he popped out again........for the last time :D

Thanks rabgoat, he was around 200 when I first saw him and if I'd had the time I would have shot him at that distance, but when he came out the second time he was only just over 100.It was a nice change to see a fox at a comfortable range and in the daylight. I haven't used the .17 on a fox yet and there was a strong cross wind, and he was facing me, so I probably would have let him get closer and turn flank on, if I only had the .17 with me.

no probs lazza just wondering why you never took it out when you first seen it,suppose when you have more fire power there you'll always want to use it.
