I know a bloke who just bought one new, for targets. He stuck a nightforce 8-32x56 on it. He says its the ******* nuts. .338 lapua Caliber

Anyone else have one of these rifles (see sig url)? I had a little trouble with CCI Hollow Point ammo. If i loaded all 4 into the magazine, the tip of the first 2 rounds would catch the breech and would not go into the barrel.... I have found that if you push the magazine up that extra 1/4mil whilst closing the bolt, the hollow points will go straight in. Its fine with BTails ammo, just the hollow points. well pleased with the accuracy on this baby

I have just fitted a .17HMR DM80. Well worth it!!

I have both, 22LR and 17HMR. If its rabbits your going for, then you cant go wrong with a .22LR

It was £750 in the shop. I have kept my old scope, Its a simmons whitetail classic, 3.5-10x50. Will be buying a Mildot scope if i am not happy with it, but im sure it will be fine maybe just need a bit more zoom power. Just fitted my Bipod and SAK mod for the time being. **** myself while I was fitting the studs in the stock, always a slow job doing them :S Going upto the farm later to zero her in. Will post more. Ive got 2 types of ammo. 1. CCI TNT Jacketed Hollow Point 17gr 2. Remmy 17gr Accutip-V Boat tails. Ill try the HP's first to see if they cause trouble in the mag.

I use a 'hook' stanley blade down its stomach and then pull the guts out by hand. Surgical gloves are a big help.....but i find this is by far the quickest method.
