Cometta 300

I have just got a cometta 300 off of a workmate that wanted to offload it and as I shoot shotguns don’t know much about them are they any good ?

Spanish, I've shot  the 400 and it was a nice gun. Better then gamo. 

Lad at work had one to shoot ferals in the bag sheds, they are a nice lightweight gun and for the money as good as any bsa, Webley that gets slung out of Turkey these days

There are at least two different stock styles and several different sight versions, perhaps even the barrels are different also. A test report I read said the grouping was awful but the one I have groups fine. The trigger is basic but functional with a clean break and virtually no creep, the overall build is better than some others but not quite as good as some so probably best described as a mid market rifle.

End of the day .a good gun is a good gun .it makes little difference what the brand name is .equally you can buy a duffer from a top brand too .

Judge every gun (especially springers) on how they shoot and the accuracy they give .

the 300 gets compaired to the hw99 

 

iv had both . Obv not as good as the 99 but for the money it’s great . 

The trigger Isn’t very nice but apart from that all thumbs up . 

Sold mine for £150 about 2 years ago . 

 

Soild . accurate . Compact gun
