Once the kids are back at school the coach parties with the more mature folk on board start appearing in numbers. I'm waiting to have a look at the new bridge at Tintagel. Gordon R
We went to St Ives - first week in August - a bit too busy for my liking. Visited Cornwall over 40 times, but we will be picking our time a bit more carefully next year. So many beautiful seaside villages, within a relatively small area. I appreciate the size of Cornwall, but there is always another village a couple of miles down the road, unlike Scotland where they are many miles apart. St Ives is always busy, great place for sitting outside a drinking establishment and people watching. September is a great month to visit Cornwall everyone has more time for you and in my opinion the food is better when eating out as the staff are not so rushed. As you say there are so many places to visit that are just fantastic whether its the beach at Perranporth or Kynance Cove or small harbours like Gorran Haven or Cadgwith to name a few.
