royden
I tried to buy some .22 long blanks from my local farming suppliers yesterday and all went well until I got to the check out. It came up on there till that I would have to produce my shotgun certificate and as I didn't have it with me I came out empty handed .Surely they have got it wrong or have I missed something ? alan123shooting
No you are quite correct you do not need a licence for a blank firer or blanks. They are making there own rules
royden
I think you are right they do seem to be making up there own rules but I shall go back to challenge it with the manager of the store. Thanks for the reply.
figgy
Lots of dog trainers or athletic clubs used blanks along with construction folks. No licence required. Idiots. Take your business elsewhere.

Perazzishot
Hilti nail guns use .22 blanks to drive steel nails, they use 200 strips. Walk in and buy no issue!
