Velocette
Photographed yesterday this deer is nearby and I do have permission to reduce the numbers when needed. The point is,,do I shoot it straight away,,wait until its gets trapped and try to cut the wire away,,or watch and wait for the antlers to drop. Tricky ! London Best
No brainer.. Shoot it as soon as you have an opportunity. Before he gets trapped somewhere and starves to death with crows on his eyes. Edited October 24, 2019 by London Best
Lloyd90
Shoot it asap, before it gets tangled up somewhere out of sight and dies a slow death

London Best
Seen it before, more than once. It can only lead to a sad end.
Velocette
It only happened in the last few days and he's still feeding "normally". I'll pop down in the morning and shoot him. I just wondered if anyone had come across anything like it and how they dealt with it.
London Best
It’s not uncommon. See my post num 4 above.
eddoakley
Nowt tricky about this one. Has to go sooner rather than later when there's a good chance that it will be an unpleasant end rather than a quick one. Edd
