B525 Trap One

Recommended Posts

Had a look at the above gun today with a view to buying.

Listed (and looked) as brand new, but dated to 2015. Could it be "new old stock"?

I know other things are sometimes listed as "NOS" but didn't know if guns are the same.

Thanks for any in-put.

Just like everyone else is bound to be guessing !

If you're not confident it's new, perhaps you could take someone experienced with you to eyeball the condition?

I'm quite confident that it is new, as in never been used, but it's 4 years old. Would the warranty be from date of purchase or manufacture?

I will of course ask these questions if I go back to try it.

It is from a gun shop, and in fact, I've bought my last three guns from them.

In 1989 I bought a new rifle. It was proofed when imported in 1985. Just not sold for four years. Warranty should start from date of purchase.

If I was buying any gun from a dealer being sold as new, I’d be expecting a full warranty.

As an aside I fairly recently picked up the same gun (same year too), fits superbly with the extended and adjustable stock. Didn’t know what I’d been missing all these years...

The warranty should be from the date on your invoice or till receipt as that is what they usually ask you to produce. Very nice guns, my dad bought a LH one when they first came out and has been very pleased with it.
