la bala
Well today was test day for just the plough. As some of you know i always post pics whatever the outcome, good or bad, I can take the flack. Well after the recent rains we have had I thought it would have gone better, boy that ground is hard. The fields have around 400mm of stiff clay soil overlying silt but just getting through that clay is something else. We started playing around by adjusting the pitch on the plough and things were improving until we had a fail. It appears the fabricator was a bit mean with the thickness of material on the bottom lift arm fixings.. Everything back in the workshop for upgrade. I think we may have to add a weight box to help things too.

la bala
Well thats the bent bits off, two more cut and drilled. That 16mm plate is hard work with a 9 inch cutting wheel. You wouldnt believe a member of the family operates lazer and water jet cutting equipment. Hopefully get the welding done tomorrow. To cap it off I have virtually no pedal to the clutch on the Landy.
