oldypigeonpopper
Hello, pigeon.will.eat a range of fruit having lived near a large farm growing soft fruit, gooseberries cherries black currents, there is a cherry tree in the local school garden now devoid of any fruit with pigeon the main culprit, the farm had a full time pigeon shooter in the growing season, I was lucky that my permission was right next door to the fields of fruit, my first 410 accounted for many pigeon coming in to roost of the small wood, back then over 50 years a few pigeon were a welcome change for dinner Edited June 26, 2020 by oldypigeonpopper

Old Boggy
It`s also quite common for them to eat small snails. One of my shooting pals rang me once to inform me that he had just shot some pigeons with small snails in their crops, a first for him. I very nearly convinced him that they were French pigeons just arrived across the channel and were referred locally as `Palomba L`escargot`.
