Smokersmith
No defence for killing a Goshawk. It puts them in an undefendable position.

If ‘they’ can prove beyond reasonable doubt who did it. I am very suspicious of these anti’s films, they always seem just too convenient. Trail cameras are cheap now and the police would not be looking to prosecute if the evidence would not hold up in court.

Absolutely bang on the money! I read an article yesterday and to summarise - 3 suspended, 2 reinstated and 1 resigned. Just my opinion but has guilt written all over it. We as a shooting community will ALL be tarred with this brush if the right thing is not done. The perpetrator should feel the full weight of the law if proven guilty. The sooner we as a community show that we won’t tolerate goings on like this the better. how anyone can think that breaking the law and risking their job, livelihood, and reputation to protect a few grouse is worth it I really don’t know. Not to mention the possibility of the curtailment of our way of life.
Pushandpull
It was grim to watch. For a good critical discussion on the journalism have a look at matt cross twitter. Matt is the guy who freelances news for Shooting Times and who sorted out the "puffingate" nonsense. Perhaps BASC should employ him.
Jacko3275
Good editing I wonder how many said we are against the killing of raptors and if true they should be dealt with accordingly
