discobob
I was on patrol on exercise out in Germany many years ago. I came across a bunch of Techs (now don't get me wrong I was an operator in the Army but then joined the RAF as a Tech) trying to move a Bedford Trailor (1 ton??). Three or four were pushing at the back of it and it was going nowhere. I walked over and said hang on - lifted the front up and in turn lifted the jockey wheel out of the hole it was stuck in - and then went "push" - lo and behold - it moved quite easily then
Aled
All sorts of things go out the window when it comes to common sense, my best mate is a master craftsman, and makes sets for top films several times on practical issues he's shown me some good common sense....on one occasion he lost his torch while night fishing, i saw him 2 days later he told me he really struggled to tie his fishing flies on the line in the dark... I said didn't you have your phone with you, that's got a light on it? He looked at me slapped his forehead and called himself a wally! Happens to the best of us sometimes. Cheers Aled
figgy
We can all suffer brain farts at times, it's different to having non or little common sense.
