the last engineer
its 9/11 When I was taught A levels it was 11/9 must be an american thing? its remembered as 9-11 for many reasons i guess, yes they put month before day, they also do here, and then switch them for the hell of it. you may recall also that the emergency number here is 911 on any phone, ironic thought eh. thoughts and prayers to all affected . Owenwill
Never forget that terrible day, although, got happy memories of it too, my youngest lad born in the morning before it all kicked off, 6 today, no excuses for forgetting his birthdate

mr lee
Never forget that terrible day, although, got happy memories of it too, my youngest lad born in the morning before it all kicked off, 6 today, no excuses for forgetting his birthdate Same here. Daughters 8th birthday today. Had relatives over there at the time all this happened. Was extremely worrying wondering if they were okay. Thoughts go out to all the victims and those people they left behind.
lurcherboy
The minute I heard it on the radio I knew it was a terrorist action and said so to my then workmates.I was rubbished at the time but vindicated by the end of the day. What I am want to say (in a cack handed way) is that when you mess with fundamentalists, extremists, patriots etc is you cannot win and time has proved this. The live and let live divide has changed over the last 20 or so years for the worse in my opinion. RIP all those involved and condolences to the their loved ones.
