GreatOutdoors Posted Friday at 11:56 Share Posted Friday at 11:56 Hi all.I did not realise I needed one or really wanted one until I had one. This was also a nice inexpensive treat from a U.K. based company. Thanks 👍🏻
London Best Posted Friday at 12:50 Share Posted Friday at 12:50 Strangely, I had the opposite experience, not realising I didn’t need one and didn’t want one until after I fitted one. It went on a T8 moderator on my .308 stalking rifle and was an immediate pain in the rear. It caught on thorns and collected burrs when pushing through woodland, but worst of all it blocked light from the low-mounted Leupold and was discarded immediately. I do like the way it looks as I have a matching camo cover on my stock and think for .22LR where ranges are a lot closer, this may help with concealment. 7 minutes ago, oldypigeonpopper said: Hello, it was to stop the glare using a pard 007, Good point and I know another hunter that does the same. Hello, did the same on a friend's HMR silencer , it's surprising how it effects the 007 and scope view,
