grahamch
Been wasting on you tube and there seems to be plenty of commercial TSS loads in the States. Do folk think we will ever see them imported?
Guest cookoff013
some might make it through.
mchughcb
Nope because they are too specialized and too expensive. But never say never
Stonepark
Eventually one of our manufacturers will make them but they don't want to as it will make all their current specialist loadings obselete.
Lloyd90
They’ll be mega money but considering you don’t pay £35+ per bird out shooting ducks and geese, and how they are considerably more effective I can see them being popular. mchughcb
There are different requirements. If a 8 gram load of #10TSS is all required for ducks to 40 yards then that will get the cost down. 42 gram load of #9 for Turkey is too expensive and not required. Right enough. However, I can see that whatever now passes for a R&D Dep't in the UK 'big four' being busy as if what we've been told about the pattern characteristics of the material is correct and in view of some of their more recent offerings under the 'high/extreme' headings, a c21g load in a 20 - 28-ish bore gun and shot size 7&1/2 - 8-ish could be quite popular for some. When the time comes and push turns into shove, you can bet your bottom dollar that the loaders will have something ready to put on the RFDs' shelves in order to satisfy the perceived needs of the "some".
