Hunter
After clearing the area of fox that were after my chickens, I got this one last night. There are a few more, I have seen fresh fox 'dung' on the ground. But I have not bee able to find their location. So I will go out with the lamp every second or third day for a while until I am confident there is a low risk of chicken loss due to the fox. This one is suprisingly small (yet heavy). I get the feeling its an adult fox, with small build (Vixen, in good health). Although shes small, Im convinced its not a cub due to the fur

Hunter
I should have my mentor present for fox hunting with the .222, but not for rabbiting/vermin Soon to be changed, but for now this rifle is doing the job just right. I was thinking of using .410 slugs, but this is fine

Hunter
Can you explain the teething to age relation? I would like to know this so I can check over future fox B) Probably something we should all know, but im quite new to all this. Cheers! kip270
The younger Foxes will have needle sharp incisors, as these wear with age(same as a Dog/or any animal for that matter) they become rounded, and the older ones will have very worn teeth(if they get that old B) ) Like this old Dog Fox

Hunter
Cheers Kip, im working on it. I know there another one or two out there, I found fresh 'dung' on the ground B) So this is one of many as they say. I really need to get a bigger lamp and get the centerfire in action, so that I have that extra bit of reach, and killing power.
