Walker570
Yep, like a lot of small gun shops back then they had their name etc printed on the cartridge. Looks like a paper case Eley #5....wish I had just a fiver for every one of those I've fired

Walker570
Always thought that the cartridges I handled where Eley I appreciate your information. MIND, I have fired a few which had makers names and also the little black WD Arrow on from WW2 and some may have been from 14-18, quite a lot of bigger shot in them too. Certainly would not have liked to be an enemy parachutist back then. Would almost be better than driven pheasant😁
Farmboy91
I’ve got a couple of pest control cartridges that were loaded by or at least in Holland and Holland cases. Most of the war issue ones I have and have seen do have the Kynoch ICI headstamp. Think I might have a rabbit clearance cartridge in a Holland and Holland case too somewhere. 1066
I remember the Mayfield Armoury, I bought a BSA International Mk2 from there in 1973. I would guess it closed down somewhere about the 80-90's. It was in the High Street, now Mayfield Vet clinic.
