Would it be liquid proof? all the baking soda will do is to froth the mixture...making it like foamed concrete....its what you use in making bread when you dont want to use yeast...... rekon you could use iron filings as well maybe ? The abrasive is perlite (volcano glass) and is just abrasive enough to leave my hands spotless, silky smooth and sweet-smelling, unlike Swarfega.
