Not much being mentioned in the news but there are still quite a lot of people without power in Aberdeenshire, they are slowly getting most back on but some have now been old it may be tomorrow evening or beyond before they are connected again, only 5 nights without power. Some of these areas dropped to -7°C overnight on Saturday. The Scottish government don't seem to care and the SNP are more concerned with their party conference to push another referendum so the community are having to come together to help those in need.

Local cafes have been setting up food and hot drink stalls, companies have been supplying generators to community halls for somewhere warm for people to go, hotels with power have been allowing people to stay over free of charge.
