A spot of fishing

I’m away in Somerset with my parents for a change and thought I’d get some fishing time with my dad . 
The water is covered in chick weed so it’s a feeder and maggot time .

The biggest bream my dad had was over 5lb so a personal best .

The fish were beautiful condition

Nice fish and a decent size for a small pool (from picture) I used to fish a small pool like that on a farm, it also had a fair bit of duckweed on it but the day before I used to take a garden rake with some rope attached and clear a biggish area where I wanted to fish, caught some lovely fish including Rudd, Roach, Perch and Tench also had the odd eel.

It’s the river 👍. Honestly it’s mental how much weed is on it .
