colin lad
Went to use my lanbar 12g and top firing pin not there so guess it's broken, question, as it's my cheap knock about gun used for rabbits out of truck is it worth getting fixed? or just get rid of and buy another cheapie, it only cost £100 when I got it? Cheers Colin Edited August 29, 2022 by colin lad
6.5x55SE
Myself personally I'd get it fixed. I've a old Aya no3 3" Magnum which cost £60 I've had it repined/tightened up for a small fee. If you have no one local Alan Wright from March Cambridgeshire I'm sure could sort it for you. If you need his contact details just ask 👍

craig1982
Know anybody with a small lathe ? dead easy to make a couple out of silver steel. I made a couple for my old SXS.
old'un
you can buy replacement pins from gun spares, about £30 each. Or as craig1982 said, if you know someone with a lathe get one made, easy job.

Fil
Original Lanber spares came from GMK and they are now all gone hence why all of the other spares suppliers don't have any. I got the last of the "new type" safety springs and cocking bar springs off GMK. That's all they had left as spares go. Whenever an old Lanber comes in for scrap now I strip it for spares. Have a box full. Get a new one made. It's worth it. Great guns. I have four in use as loan guns.
