crossy 666
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has found A way of carrying there shooting sticks around with them while there out walking around. I have a pair of Primos Trigger Sticks and primos do a carry bag for them so I’ve brought one of them and works well but I also use some viper flex sticks but there quite long so the bag is too short for them. I like to keep my hands free for spotting ect
Spr1985
A very easy fix would be a single rod sleeve (fishing rod sleeve)
TIGHTCHOKE
A bit of string with loops at each end.

oowee
Wow, that's a surprising request. What type of hunting do you do? If you put the sticks in a bag they will be slow to deploy. Strings and stuff is likely to just be a pita. I carry mine left hand. Rifle is on my back hands free. When I stop to spot the sticks provide the rest. When I shoot the spotter drops on the neck and rifle is seamless onto the sticks. Sticks are pushed open by the stock. Mostly I shoot at night but same technique for Stalking. If I bump deer or night quarry i want to be straight on the sticks. No phaffing with bags straps and clips. Even my sticks are carried unclipped. crossy 666
I’ve just ordered one of them which I think should do the job. When I’m range finding, removing thermal climbing gates ect I use two hands and just find it easier to have my rifle on one shoulder and sticks on the other. I have to agree when I’m out lamping foxes yes I still use a lamp I carry my sticks in my left hand the rifle over my right shoulder if I see anything the sticks are put on ground first standing up then rifle on top If I had the sticks in cover or bag it would be too long to require them especially at night

Thermal or bonus around my neck. The sticks on in left hand provide a support for scanning.
THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
Is it transporting sticks to the land by foot / public transport, walking across fields to where a shooting area is or where walking the ground begins ? I use either a Primos Gen3 or Mjoelner mini quad sticks, the mini quads come in a carry bag. If a carry bag is needed to get to the land I'd suggest a fishing rod bag, if while walking the fields I'd suggest a rifle sling first, as others have said, a quick deploy is needed.
