Bog oak

Am after a length of bog oak for a walking stick . Made one before with a piece I bought from a man that sold bog oak at shows. But some little c stole it from my van. Can't remember the man's name

Hello, can't help with any off cut but it must be the same chap I met at a game fair some years back, sure he lived Lincoln way, made some nice sticks,

I bought and still have a bog oak stick from the Fenland Fair a few years ago. The guy’s name was Towner. Albert Towner I believe.

Not sure whether he’s the guy mentioned above.

Just checked the name on my stick and it is -: A.W.Towler.

There appears to be a Mikki Towler who could be some relation.

The chap had a bushy beard and a disabled son. What really annoyed me was took ages to work the wood and topped it with a piece of antler from one of my first deer I shot
