The ground in Somerset is generally considered good for Roe with plenty of nutrients and a good population. 

End of the season I shot this interesting head.

I have a similar malform in the loft. I think it has nine points 3/6 but off hand I can’t remember where I shot it.

I had a similar one....well a client did, down at Postlebury so not a nillion niles away.  He was over the moon with it and I have to admit they do make interesting reminders of a day out and to me that is what it is all about. I have a squidgy tiny little set, just two thin 2 inch spikes on my trophy wall but consider them the most interesting of all I have shot in 40 odd years on roe.  I can relive the moment in full detail now thirty eight years later when I have to stop and think what I had for lunch yesterday.

Was there a body attached to that head .? Or was it just floating there 🤔

I just went and checked mine. 
Correction: It carries eight points, 3/5, not nine. It was shot in 2009 in North Cumbria in the rut.
