Yes, apparently so, the screws screw in and adjust the volume that each cavity can hold. Having said that I think that you'd best stick with nothing larger than English #6 with the shot. I think even English #3 would bind and bridge. I am happy that the sleeves seem to work well. Thinking outside the box pays dividends!

thank you  for that info
I was thinking of just going between 8s and 6s in shot for this.  just acquired another one  with bits missing. Im going to have to make the de-priming ram from scratch.
should not take much to get this up and running as well.
when it gets warmer I may try and make some   shot bushings  on the lathe

I bought a lathe last Saturday! Oh dear! Was viewing at a weekly held auction just three miles away from me and asked what the lathe he had would make. The auctioneer reckoned £200 to £300 I've used one at school fifty years ago but never owned one so jokingly said I'd put £100 on it to "start him off". I've known the guy for over a decade or so. And always drop in for a look as "something to do" really. Well as it was usual chattels auction on the day nobody else bid so I got it for £100 plus commission on a maiden bid! I've now the pleasure of it being delivered for £30 when I've made room. Its a late model Winfield. I might try and machine nylon on it for these shell carriers like you've made plus maybe snap caps.

hmmm.... well they did for me ...and duty added to cost.

they only show euros and dollars now in the currency and if you try and checkout no delivery fee is shown, so i assume they no longer sell to the uk, this is what i just got, logged in added some wads then as i say tried to checkout.

A shame as they were useful for components especially those that are hard to get here.
