Labour should be cleaning up, given the SNP's failings, but they're not. And they're as 'confused' on gender as the SNP. If you mean opinion polls, well, maybe if they polled somewhere other than Edinburgh? Pollsters told us Brexit would be heavily in favour of remain, that Ed Miliband would be PM, and Hillary would sweep to power. Scottish Tories aren't as rare of a breed as the media makes out, either. The gender recognition bill received support from parties across the assembly (including Tories). Polls referred to election results. Its Tory seats that are rare in Scotland rather than voters and another demonstration of why PR would be a better reflection of voter interest. Only 2 out of 29 Tories voted for it, unlike Labour and Libdems where they basically all voted for it. 27 out of 33 who voted against the bill were Tory! https://www.parliament.scot/chamber-and-committees/votes-and-motions/S6M-06459 We really should have full PR over the entire country, it is the only way to prevent SNP in Scotland, Conservatives and Labour in England from running amok and going down routes that are antithetical to the voting population.
