Walker570 Posted February 24, 2023 Report Share Posted February 24, 2023 I have two fly tying books in as new condition which I will gladly despatch to an avid tyer of flies in ret8urn for them making at least a £10 donation to the Wild Trout Trust. "The Book" by Jimmy & Gloria Younger This is paper back and was actually printed by Jimmy & Gloria themselves because they could not get anyone to print it for them. It contains a host of salmon and sea trout patterns and lots of advice on materials and tying. "The New Illustrated Dictionary of Trout Flies" by John Roberts. If you cannot find a fly in this book which will catch you some trout then to best take up origami. It really should be alongside every tying vice. I have spent a lifetime dressing flies, some 65 years I supose but I no longer tie or fish so these books need to go to someone who can glean some benfit.
